IN A TIME OF FAVOUR

IN A TIME OF FAVOUR The time of GOD’S favour is characterized by unusual experiences and blessings. What GOD does in the time of HIS favour is so different from what HE generally does in order to enable us realize the power of HIS favour in the affairs of men. Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come. Psalms 102:13 Times of GOD’S favour are given to enable HIS purpose to be fulfilled. GOD does not pour out HIS favour randomly on people. There must be a definite purpose HE wants a man to fulfill when HE favours the man, GOD’S purpose is the same thing as the destiny HE has designed for a man.  Everybody gets something from GOD, whether a sinner or a saint, but GOD has a special package for men and women of HIS favour. That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for HE maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. Matthew 5:45 The air we...

WHEN GOD REMEMBERS YOU

When God Remembers You The Bible describes seasons of favour in many ways, but they share the same marks: overflowing joy, breakthroughs, miracles, and the goodness of the LORD. One of its names for this season is the time of divine remembrance. "And GOD remembered Rachel, and GOD hearkened to her, and opened her womb. And she conceived, and bare a son; and said, GOD hath taken away my reproach: And she called his name Joseph; and said, The LORD shall add to me another son." ( Genesis 30:22-24) Rachel's long wait Rachel's womb stayed closed for years. There can be many reasons for that. It might have been a biological cause, or GOD may have allowed it for a while so that His power could be seen more clearly. Rachel was the love of Jacob's life, yet she had no children. Her sister Leah, on the other hand, started having children almost as soon as she married Jacob. Imagine being barren while the women around you are fruitful. It is hard to picture the ache of tha...

Miracles: More Than Healing

Miracles: More Than Healing The most notable miracles and the most publicized ones are miracles of  healing. There are also stunning miracles of dying, going to heaven (or hell) and  resurrecting with a story that reaches lost souls. There are miracles of instantaneous deliverances from drugs and alcohol.  There are miracles of  forgiveness over horrible circumstances like the response of  the Amish  immediately forgiving a man who shot ten girls and killed five before  committing    suicide that inspire us all to let go of our petty offenses. There are miraculous stories of divine protection and suicide prevention.  These are all wonderful miracles, but not every miracle is so dramatic that it  makes newspaper headlines.  We can decide to believe for the miraculous GOD’S supernatural intervention in any area of our life at any time. We can believe GOD for miraculous provision when we have a need we can’t meet. We can bel...

Sons of Abundance

Sons of Abundance In a world often marked by scarcity and striving, the call to become "Sons of Abundance" is a powerful invitation to live in the fullness of God’s provision and grace. This mindset is not about material wealth alone but encompasses a life overflowing with spiritual, emotional, and relational richness—a life rooted in the knowledge of God as our loving Father. When we embrace our identity as His children, we step into a divine inheritance that transforms how we think, live, and give. 1. Knowing God as a Father At the heart of abundance is a deep understanding of God’s character as our Father. He is not distant or detached but intimately involved in every aspect of our lives. Galatians 4:7 (Mirror) reminds us, “Your sonship qualifies you to immediately participate in all the wealth of GOD’s inheritance which is yours because of CHRIST.” Similarly, Ephesians 1:11 (NLT) declares, “Furthermore, because we are united with CHRIST, we have received an inheritanc...

Creativity in His Presence

He is the Creator. As sons and daughters of God, we have access to the creativity of the God who created the universe. It’s no wonder that, when we take time to just be with Him, He shares secrets with us in the secret place. His heart is to share with us ideas, inventions, poetry, pictures to paint, songs to sing. His heart is longing for a people who will take the time to give ourselves to Him to listen, feel, see, taste, and smell.  And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God (Romans 6:13).  This time with Him is so powerful and worth fighting for when life demands our time. When we take time to rest first, the power will be there to do what we need to do, with much fruit and more ease.  There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from...

BEHOLDING IS BECOMING (PART-2)

BEHOLDING IS BECOMING (PART-2) Discovering Eden Within  What was lost in the Garden has been restored in CHRIST, all of it. Although the fullness of the restoration process of all things back to CHRIST is ongoing, the price needed for its fulfillment had been paid in full. The moment JESUS shouted on the Cross, “ IT IS FINISHED !”, those words resonated throughout all of eternity. It was sealed in Heaven forever. The way has been established, the price paid, mankind can now be reconciled with a HOLY GOD. In CHRIST we are accepted, affirmed, loved, and restored completely back to the Father’s embrace. Once more, coming face-to-face with GOD is possible through JESUS and by the leading of the HOLY SPIRIT Who Himself takes residence in us. This is amazing! This is the Good News of the KINGDOM OF GOD. In CHRIST, we have been brought back to that place of intimacy with the Father, back to the Garden of Eden. JESUS, who is the Beloved of the Father, has become unto us our Eden. As Adam ...

BEHOLDING IS BECOMING (PART - 1)

BEHOLDING IS BECOMING (PART - 1) FACE TO FACE  In GODS sovereign plan HE designed us to live in HIS presence, and be filled with HIS very presence, and from that place we shine with HIS glory in all we are and all we do. We are created for face-to-face encounters with GOD. Imagine the first time Adam opened his eyes at the very instance GOD breathed on his nostrils the breath of Life. In a moment, He saw the face of GOD shining in glory right in front of him! Just imagine, as he was gazing upon HIS face, all that GOD is...HIS love, power, goodness, majesty, perfection, and glory inundated him and every fiber of his being pulsated with divine life. Literally, Adam was saturated with GOD. He was soaked in glory!  This is a beautiful picture of what face-to-face with GOD looks like. This encounter was not just for Adam exclusively, but it is for the rest of mankind as well. In GOD'S sovereign plan, HE designed us, HIS Masterpiece, to live in HIS presence, in the place...

Identity in CHRIST - Part 5 (We Died With HIM)

We Died With HIM  JESUS died twice on the Cross. I knew this for many years, but I had no scriptural evidence of it. One day I discovered Isaiah 53:9, the answer to my long search. "And they made HIS grave with the wicked, and with a rich man in HIS deaths." The word "death" is plural in the Hebrew.   Many of you who have Bibles with marginal renderings will notice it. That is, JESUS died two deaths on the Cross: HE died spiritually (in the realm of the Soul) before HE died physically. In J ohn 10:18 HE said that no one could take HIS life from HIM. HE could not be killed; HE could not die. Why? Because HIS body was not mortal. JESUS had a body just like GOD the FATHER. It was a perfect, human body, not Mortal, nor Immortal. It was a body that could not die until sin had taken possession of His spirit.  In other words, JESUS had to die spiritually (Soul) before HE could die physically.  If JESUS' body had been like yours and mine, then HE was not Deity, HE was n...

Identity in CHRIST - Part 4 (HE was made Sick)

HE Was Made Sick – Part 4 The next step in this awful drama is found in  Isaiah 53:3-5 . “HE was despised, and rejected of men; a man of pains, and acquainted with sickness: and as one from whom men hide their face HE was despised; and we esteemed HIM not. Surely HE hath borne our sicknesses, and carried our diseases; yet we did esteem HIM stricken, smitten and afflicted." It was not what the Roman soldiers nor the angry mob did. It was what our fallen nature did to HIM. It shocks us when we realize that HE was stricken, smitten with our diseases and our sin. There was laid upon HIM the diseases and sicknesses of the human race. Isaiah 53:10 "Yet it pleased Jehovah to bruise HIM; HE hath made HIM sick." HE was not only made sin and separated from HIS FATHER, until HIS broken heart cried, "My GOD, my GOD, why halt thou forsaken me? " but the diseases of the human race fell upon HIM. Isaiah 52:14 "Just as many were amazed over HIM, and prince...

Identity in CHRIST - Part 3 (HE was made Sin)

HE was made Sin In the great drama of our Redemption, as soon as CHRIST was nailed to the Cross, with HIS crown of thorns, and with the howling mob that surrounded HIM, justice began to do its awful work behind the scenes. Sense-Knowledge men and women who surrounded the Cross could only see the physical man, JESUS, hanging there.  GOD could see HIS spirit. Angels could see HIS spirit. Demons could see the real man, hidden in that body. Then came the dreadful hour when  2 Corinthians 5:21 was fulfilled.  "HIM who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; that we might become the Righteousness of GOD in Him."  Isaiah 53:5 "HE was wounded for our transgressions, HE was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon HIM; and with HIS stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and JEHOVAH hath laid on HIM the iniquity of us all."  On that awful cross, HE not only became sin, b...

Identity in CHRIST - Part 2 ( Crucified with CHRIST)

Crucified with CHRIST Galatians 2:20 When Paul said, "I have been crucified with CHRIST," it meant he had been judged, condemned, cast out, stripped naked, and nailed to the Cross. The very thought of crucifixion to a Jew, and especially to a Pharisee, brought a sense of shame and horror. When Saul of Tarsus identified himself with the Man, JESUS, accepted HIM as his SAVIOR, and confessed HIM as his LORD, that moment he became a crucified man to the Jewish people. He became an outcast. No wonder he said in Gal. 6:14 that the world had been crucified unto him, and he had been crucified unto the world.  The world had been stripped naked to Paul. There was no longer any delusionin regard to it. He could no longer be deceived. He knew its cruelty. He had felt its lash upon his back.  He remembered the stoning that had left him unconscious. He remembered that in every place he went, he faced the anger, bitterness, and jealousy of men.  He had been stripped naked ...

Identity in CHRIST - Part 1(The Law of Identity)

The Law of Identity The teaching of Identity is the legal side of our Redemption. It unveils to us what GOD did in CHRIST for us, from the time He went to the Cross, until He sat down on the right hand of the FATHER.  The vital side of Redemption is what the Holy Spirit, through the WORD, is doing in us now. Several times Paul uses the preposition "with" in connection with His Substitutionary teaching.  In Gal. 2:20 it says like this "I have been crucified WITH CHRIST."  Then he tells us that "lie died WITH CHRIST," that "he was buried WITH CHRIST."  This gives us the key that unlocks the great teachings of Identity.  CHRIST became one with us in sin, that we might become one with HIM in Righteousness.  HE became as we were, to the end that we might be as HE is now. HE became one with us in death, that we might become one with HIM in life. There is a two-fold oneness: first HIS oneness with our sin on the cross; second, our oneness wi...

REIGNING IN LIFE

REIGNING IN LIFE Romans 5:17 For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. One of the precious principles we need to remember in this life is: everything in the Kingdom of God is to be received, not achieved. In addition to this, we cannot release what we have not received. In Matthew 10:1 it says, “And having summoned His twelve disciples, He gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every kind of disease and every kind of sickness.” The twelve received authority in the presence of Jesus as He commissioned them to do the works of the Kingdom. And Jesus went on to say, “freely you received, freely give.” We cannot release or give what we have not received from Him. The measure in which we receive from Him in the secret place is the same measure in which we are able to release to the world Jesus sits...

CULTIVATE INTIMACY

Cultivate Intimacy Soaking prayer is not a replacement for reading the Bible, praying, intercession, Christian counseling, or any other Christian discipline. It is the other side of the conversation, cultivating intimacy, going after God’s heart. Then He comes with His hand! I have especially seen this in healing ministry. Healing of issues of the heart, like physical healing, sometimes comes in an instant. But sometimes the healing takes place over a period of time. This is where soaking comes in. Many healing rooms and counselors have a place for their clients to soak before and after sessions with much fruit.  We’ve seen over and over that most of what God does happens when people stay on the floor (or sit in a chair) and keep on receiving, lingering in His presence. We so easily want “McJesus,” but He wants to dine with us! There is always more! Don’t miss it! When you are in that place, He has your full attention, and you have His. Many churches have added soaking prayer to ...

Soaking Prayer

Soaking Prayer  “Soaking Prayer, what is that?”  The term soaking prayer has caused many different reactions. For those who understand the concept, it has become life changing. Soaking prayer is our effort to explain to a do-do-do culture what it is to just be-be-be.  The whole point is simply being with the One who created you for relationship; only from that intimate relationship will a fruitful life flow. Our relationship with Him, like any other, must be cultivated daily and it must be two way. That’s what soaking is all about learning to not just talk at God but to wait before Him and listen to His voice, resting in His Presence.  The concept of soaking prayer is nothing new. During previous revivals, people referred to it as “waiting on the Lord” or “tarrying” as they lingered, expecting God to touch them.  Soaking includes waiting, but there is so much more. We choose to rest in His love rather than to strive in prayer. It is an active rest;...

THE LOVE OF GOD

The Love of God God loves us. 1 John 4:7 tells us to know that in our minds, but often we don’t live that way. We forget about the Bible verses about God's love that reaffirm to us His care and concern for us. Many of us grow up doubting the love of God because of the relationships we have with others. Broken relationships, hurt from others, or even our own bad choices and cause us to doubt why God would choose to love us. Sometimes well-meaning churches even misguide us into thinking that we need to earn God's love by behaving or acting "good enough". God demonstrated the greatest act of love when Jesus Christ died on the cross for us. We no longer have to work toward being love, it is given freely for all. But the reality of God’s love surrounds us day by day, as revealed in these inspiring Bible verses about God’s love below. We learn that God’s love is steadfast and unchanging, comforts us, is revealed to us through Jesus Christ, poured into us through the Holy ...
