John 4:17 By living In God, love has been brought to its full expression in us, so that we may fearlessly face the day of judgement, because all that Jesus now is, so are We in this World ( TPT ).
Here the scriptures says " As Jesus is now, so we are ". This scripture is talking about the present, not the future nor the past. From the decades, the church is believing the above verse in wrong perspective. It made people to believe that as Jesus struggled with the world situation, it's mandatory for us to be struggled. But the scripture is all about present. In other words " NOW ".Now the scripture says As he is - Let me pose a question to you. Where is Jesus now? He is in us. At the same time, he is seated at the right hand side of the Father and made us to seat with him ( Ephesians: 2:6 Kjv ).
In the present world, 70% of preaching is about devil, 15% about forefathers and 15% about Jesus. Once you are born again in Christ, you are his asset. You are no longer under Devil nor the forefathers. We are seated with him in heaven like Jesus ( John: 4:17 Kjv ).
Bible clearly says, Jesus defeated the devil but the church is still believing that devil is working among us. Let me tell you something- Jesus knows that he defeated the devil and even Devil knows that it wont have any( not even 0% ) authority on us.Your enemy is not the devil which fell from heaven, its your mind set. ( Hosea 4:6 Kjv)
If you believe that devil has 1% of authority on you, then you are his doll. He will play with you like a kid. We need to be with Christ mindset. Bible boldly says that " we have the mind of Christ " ( 1 Corinthians 2:16 ).
If you want to design your life, then set your mind like Christ- Act like Christ, think like Christ, walk like Christ and speak like Christ.
As Jesus is Now, so We are.
We should and must experience all the good in our life because his( Jesus ) life is good in all ages.
