For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. [Romans 8:2 KJV] In Romans 8:2 we see the two spiritual laws of life and death in operation. The following charts show each law and it's results. As you can see, they are complete opposites. From past Three months, it has struck me—in view of Paul’s warning that those who desire to be rich plunge into ruin and destruction—how strange it is how many Christian people still pursue wealth. (1 Timothy 6:9-10)   But Paul means what he says—desiring to be rich is deadly. And there is more. The key that unlocks this text is in  (1 Timothy 6:6) "Godliness with contentment is grea t gain.” Now  what is the protection against these deadly effects of money ? Answer : a heart that is content in God.  Are you deeply satisfied in God, so that this satisfaction, this contentment, doesn’t collapse when God ordains that you have much or little ? Having little can destroy contentment in God by making us feel he is stingy or uncaring or powerless. And having much can destroy our contentment in God by making us feel that God is superfluous, or quite secondary as a helper and treasure. We have seen the assurance of our salvation, that is, how we know that we are saved. We have also seen the security of our salvation, that is, how we can never lose our salvation.  But is that sufficient? Unfortunately, many Christians are content to go only this far-------having salvation, but having little joy or enjoyment of that salvation, Our friend with millions in the bank may have the assurance that He is rich, and He may have the security of knowing that His deposit is safe. But if He never spends a dime and is content to live a pauper's life, we can hardly say He has the enjoyment of those riches. Objectively speaking He is rich, but in His practical experience He has nothing. A chair was a forbidden piece of furniture inside the Jewish tabernacle and later in the temple. Why? Imagine for a moment that you’re an average citizen of Israel. You enter the temple on the Day of Atonement and are greeted by a priest lounging in  a La-Z-Boy. What would this communicate to you? He must have nothing left to do! To avoid this false impression, God didn’t allow such a scene to take place. He forbade Levitical priests to sit down on the job, so that the image of unfinished business would be imprinted on their consciences. Hebrews contrasts the constant standing and ongoing religious performances of Old priests with our seated High Priest, who will never again offer another sacrifice for sins: “Day after day every priest stands and performs his religious duties; again and again he offers the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. Picture the scene. An Israelite camp in the desert, several thousand years ago. The tabernacle, pitched on top of a hill in the center of the camp. The high priest, running down the hillside shouting that he has found the perfect spotless lamb, which will be sacrificed on behalf of all the people, taking care of their sins for the rest of their lives. Imagine the excitement! After that one final sacrifice, all the men of Israel gather to begin tearing down the tabernacle. Then they move on with a whole new way of life. No longer do they have to worry about sacrifices to clean up their track record. Instead, they can live guilt-free, knowing that a perfect lamb has done away with their sins once and for all. Instead, what we see is the Israelites having to offer animal sacrifices over and over throughout their history, because no single sacrifice was sufficient to perfectly cleanse them. Through the New Covenant, we find our standing as holy children of God. The first (Old) covenant was set aside because it made no one perfect. After all, it was a performance-based system, and no one could perform in a way that met its standards Imagine walking on eggshells your entire life as you try to do everything written in the law. The Lost Coin-   Today we are gaining knowledge from the eminent parable " The Lost Coin" (Luke 15:8-10 Kjv).                In the above context, the Bible referred to a "Value" . The Bible says that, the women had 10 coins with her and unfortunately she lost one coin. To regain that coin, that women started seeking all around. If it was a night, Bible says, she would have definitely light a lamp and searched for it.  Why that lady kept all her effort to regain that coin? Its because, the coin has a " value" . With that coin she can comfort herself, can buy groceries, can lend to someone.  If there is no value to that coin, she would have neglect that coin and would had a nap.  Similarly, even we too have a "value".
